Accent and dialect is an important part of a person's identity. It is also an essential piece of storytelling. There are occasions when someone, often for professional reasons, may want the option to speak with an accent other than their own. Kris has worked with private clients from as far as Ukraine and South Korea to help them learn an American accent. She has also worked with actors who need to prepare quickly for an audition that requires a particular accent.

 

Whatever the scenario, clients are led through the process of  accent acquisition by understanding the muscular patterns in the involved in speech, exploring the melodic patterns and isolating the pronunciation features.
